How is IntegraCare Different?
IntegraCare differentiates itself through its "3-Dimensional Focus" and its unique position in the marketplace where state-of-the-art, affordable senior living services are offered through strategic affiliation with hospitals. We also provide services within the framework of our "Family and Friends Concept", another of our important differentiating factors.
Our 3-Dimensional Focus
The main difference between IntegraCare and its competitors is that we seek to improve the quality of life for our employees, in addition to serving our residents and their families. Our focus on our employees motivates them to provide quality care, get to know the residents, interact with the families, and create an environment that is characterized by solid relationships and a sense of vitality resulting in satisfied residents and their families.
The second of the three areas is that of our attention to our residents. We offer each resident our "Personal Touch Program". During thirty days immediately following move-in each resident experiences one-on-one attention by one of our management team members. The time is spent welcoming the resident, acclimating him/her to the routines and services, introducing new friends, and creating of sense of warmth and satisfaction with their senior living choice.
Some of the more competitive features that we offer our residents are meals made from scratch, 24-hour certified staffing, recreational activities seven days per week, intimate parlors and common areas outside the resident's own unit, internet access, special needs areas to assist residents when frailty level increases, and a dedicated caring staff with longevity.
The third facet of our three areas is our "Family and Friends Concept". We see the family as an essential part of the picture for satisfaction and success. The idea here is to have features that make the community a place where family and friends want to visit as opposed to a place that they visit out of obligation. Some of the noteworthy details of this program are themed parlors with socialization opportunities for all ages and activities that include the family on a regular basis. One example of this is a pub fully equipped with a Sony Play Station, pinball machine, jukebox and gaming tables. Other special areas include a billiards room, library, internet café, a theatre, and a hospitality center offering snacks and beverages to families and friends when they stop by to visit. Some of the family-oriented activities include pool tournaments, gardening clubs, mother-daughter gatherings, trips and outings, and intergenerational programs.
While this "3-Dimensional Focus" may seem rather simple, it is quite a deviation from the focus of our competitors. The industry seems to focus on attracting the customer while our approach adds the focus of retaining and satisfying the customer.
