Our Mission
IntegraCare's mission is to "improve the quality of life for its employees, residents, and their families." The company's goal is to create an environment where its primary customer, the employee, experiences respect, dignity, and personal development. By providing this environment for our employees, the second half of our mission, "improve the quality life for our residents and their families," will be achieved.

Our Strategy
The community hospital is the most influential referral source affecting senior living communities. This influence extends beyond direct referrals. ICC's strategy of integrating senior living communities into acute-care based continuums provides powerful competitive advantages, which result in improved care and value for the residents and increased market share for our business. For our staff, the stability and success of our business provides "a good place to work", increased security, and personal growth opportunities.

The industry-wide challenges of increasing acuity, competition, and the high cost of capital are effectively met by an affiliation with a community hospital. Where a hospital ownership is not possible or desirable, the company will establish strategic affiliations with other providers in the continuum, such as: home health, therapy, rehabilitation, skilled, and acute care providers. This strategy is particularly desirable in the case of acquisition of underperforming properties.

Hospitals are receptive to the IntegraCare Strategy. The addition of independent and/or assisted living to the hospital's continuum of services is one answer to declining in-patient revenues. Independent and assisted living residents are high consumers of the types of services that hospitals are creating to offset declining in-patient revenues. Well conceived and managed senior living communities add to the hospital's bottom line by increasing market share through controlling a continuum of out-patient and post-acute services that deter the entry of competing hospitals by similar methods.

Hospital affiliated senior living communities consistently produce positive cash flow. Since the customer is the payor, they are not subject to the reimbursement reductions currently plaguing hospitals as a result of the Balanced Budget Act and managed care.

The residents living in a hospital-affiliated property experience improved access to the many ancillary services of the hospital, the opportunity to have a coordinated approach to care and have a greater sense of security. Additionally, many of the hospital's senior auxiliary volunteers cultivate friendships and volunteer their time to the residence. Since socialization is so vital to our residents' longevity, these interactions and friendships enable us to improve their quality of life.

ICC properties achieve occupancies in excess of fair market share and national averages.
