Resident Care Assistants- Full Time & Part Time - 3pm - 11pm Shift
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Residents with daily life functions such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, etc. Assist in ambulation of Residents to and from activities, dining room and other locations as needed.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to provide quality assistance to Residents in a professional and caring manner is required. The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required. Requires frequent lifting of Residents, bending, stretching, standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
B. Education
High school graduate, GED or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry is required.
C. Experience
Prior experience in the care of elderly is preferred.
D. Certificates/Licenses
Home Health Care or Certified Nurses Aide certificate is preferred. CPR or first aid certificates preferred.

Medication Assistant - Full Time - 3pm - 11pm Shift

Responsible for preparing, administering and charting oral, topical and suppository drugs. Performs pulse and blood pressure measurements, and administers PRN drugs as directed. Assists with admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ability to prepare, administer and chart non-parenteral drugs as prescribed by a physician is required. The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required. May require lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time.
B. Education
A high school diploma, GED or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse
aide registry.
C. Experience
A minimum of one year experience providing direct care to elderly in a long-term care setting is required. Previous Medication Assistant experience in a health care or hospitality setting preferred.
D. Certificates/Licenses
Certification as a Medication Assistant through IntegraCare’s Medication Assistant course is required. Home Health Care or Certified Nurses Aid certificate is preferred. CPR or first aid certificates preferred.
Housekeeping Assistant--Part Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for cleaning Residents' rooms and residence common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste into proper containers, replaces light bulbs and assists with any general housekeeping duties necessary.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ability to maintain a clean and neat environment is required. Knowledge of cleaning practices and substances is required. The ability to identify cleaning needs and safety hazards is required. The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required. Requires frequent lifting, bending, stretching, kneeling and standing for extended periods of time.
B. Education
High school graduate, GED or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry is required.
C. Experience
Previous housekeeping experience in a health care or hospitality setting is
preferred.
D. Certificate/Licenses
None required.
Executive Director - Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the residence in accordance with current state and local standards, and in accordance with all ICC policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is provided at all times. Represents the residence in a professional manner, markets the residence to maintain a positive image and reputation with the community and to maintain census at the highest possible level.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ability to handle multiple priorities, develop a cohesive management team, direct the overall operation of the residence and make business decisions on a daily basis is required. Must be knowledgeable in the business of providing long-term personal care, as well as current state and local long-term care standards. The ability to handle emergency situations calmly and competently is essential. The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is essential. May require lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time.
B. Education
A bachelor's degree in business or a health related field from an accredited university or an associate’s degree/60 credit hours from an accredited college/university or an RN or an LPN with one year of work experience in a related field or a Nursing Home Administrator license.
C. Experience
Requires a minimum of four years experience in the health care field, with at least two years experience in an administrator capacity.
D. Certificates/Licenses
A Personal Care Home License as an Administrator is preferred; Nursing Home Administrator license accepted; RN or LPN accepted. Certificates or education as indicated by state/federal regulatory agencies required. A valid driver's license in the state employed is preferred.

Director of Resident Care Services - Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Resident Care Department in accordance with current state and local regulations, as well as with ICC policies and procedures. Assures that the care needs of all Residents are met and maintained according to physician orders and ICC standards. Participates in the interviewing and selection of residents for admission, and personnel for the Resident Care Department.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice, state and local regulations, and of common safety standards and precautions are required. The ability to manage and direct the resident care department. Knowledge of medical records documentation and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and competently are required. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all residence personnel is essential. The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required. May require frequent lifting, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time.
B. Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
C. Experience
Four or more years experience in the long-term care industry required, preferably in a managerial capacity.
D. Certificates/Licenses
Current RN or LPN license in the state employed. CPR certification required. Current driver's license in state employed is preferred.
LPN- Charge Nurse - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Shift - Full Time Temporary Assignment
POSITION SUMMARY:
Administers medication and coordinates medical needs of the Residents with physicians, Resident Care Director and family members. Observes, documents and reports significant changes in Residents' condition, recommending changes in care needs. Supervises Resident Care Assistants/Medication Assistants/Residential Services Coordinator/Unit Clerk, determines shift assignments, provides instruction to Resident Care staff and ensures care is provided as instructed.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of standard nursing practices, and state and local regulations is required. Knowledge of medical records maintenance and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and competently are required. Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is essential. Supervisory skills necessary. Requires frequent lifting, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time.
B. Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
C. Experience
One year prior clinical experience is preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
D. Certificates/Licenses
Current LPN license in the state employed is required. CPR certification is
required.
