JOB TITLE:
Receptionist
SUMMARY:
Represents the residence in a professional, pleasant, courteous and accommodating manner to the community and general public. Responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors to the residence and directing them to the appropriate person/area. Directs all incoming phone calls to the appropriate party, and performs other clerical duties such as filing, typing, mail sorting, etc.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have knowledge of basic telephone reception systems and techniques. The ability to handle all incoming phone calls and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner, provide clerical support and represent the residence in a professional manner is required. The ability to respond calmly to emergency situations is essential. The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is essential. May require some lifting, bending, stretching and stooping.
B. Education
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
C. Experience
Requires six months to one-year prior reception experience in an office environment. Typing or word processing experience is preferred.
D. Certificates/Licenses
None required.
Housekeeping Assistant- Part Time
JOB TITLE:
Housekeeping Assistant
SUMMARY:
Responsible for cleaning Residents' rooms and residence common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etc. Discards waste into proper containers, replaces light bulbs and assists with any general housekeeping duties necessary.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The ability to maintain a clean and neat environment is required. Knowledge of cleaning practices and substances is required. The ability to identify cleaning needs and safety hazards is required. The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required. Requires frequent lifting, bending, stretching, kneeling and standing for extended periods of time.
B. Education
High school graduate, GED or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry is required.
C. Experience
Previous housekeeping experience in a health care or hospitality setting is
preferred.
D. Certificate/Licenses
None required.
Wait Staff- Part Time- Evening Shift
JOB TITLE:

SUMMARY:
Responsible for preparing dining room for meals by setting tables, folding napkins, filling water glasses, providing and refilling condiments. Assists in food preparation as needed. Serves meals to Residents in a courteous and professional manner and clears dishes from tables to kitchen. Removes soiled linens from tables and cleans and straightens dining room after meals.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires the knowledge of proper table setting and serving and the ability to follow such procedures. The ability to provide menu selection to Residents, follow individual dietary restrictions and take accurate orders is essential. Requires the ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Requires frequent heavy lifting, standing for extensive periods of time, bending, stooping and stretching.
B. Education

Full Time Maintenance Assistant
JOB TITLE:
Maintenance Assistant
SUMMARY:
Performs routine maintenance and repair of residence, maintaining physical appearance of the grounds and building as well as ensuring that the building is physically sound and safe. Works with outside contractors as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Requires the skill to perform maintenance functions on the building and grounds. The ability to develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety standards is essential. The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is essential. Requires frequent heavy lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and stretching. Requires moving of heavy furniture, equipment and boxes.
B. Education
High school graduate, GED or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry is required.
C. Experience
One or more years of maintenance experience is required, preferably in the health care industry.
D. Certificates/Licenses
HVAC certificate preferred. Valid driver's license in the state employed is
preferred.
