LANCASTER, Pa. – Magnolias of Lancaster Executive Operations Officer Justin Lee and his team planned the senior living community’s Holiday Brunch hoping to bring together residents, their families and team members to celebrate the season.
The team successfully fulfilled that goal.
“We had 38 guests total, with 80% of our residents having at least one guest in attendance,” Lee said of the Dec. 9 gathering at the senior living community located at 1870 Rohrerstown Road.

“We were very pleased with the response and the turnout,” Lee said. “The menu was excellent and the brunch was served in courses by our team to residents seated throughout the community. We received many compliments in reference to the food and the type of event. Families were able to enjoy quality time with their loved ones with the support of the community staff.”
The Magnolias of Lancaster Dining Experience team made the event special by serving appetizers such as turkey and cranberry, pinwheels, fresh fruit and strawberry Santas. The entrees included sausage and leek quiche, French toast and breakfast potatoes.
Lee joined the Magnolias of Lancaster team in August. The EOO felt the holiday brunch will set a solid foundation for future similar events aimed at bringing residents, team members and family together on special occasions.
“This is my first time doing something like this at Magnolias of Lancaster, and it’s been a pleasure to see the event unfold,” Lee said. “We invited family members and had a great response, a lot of interaction. That’s what we intended. It was just a fun way to celebrate the season.”
