CNA Mohamed Kargbo’s milestone was built on trust, relationships, and heartfelt service
EXTON, Pa. – Residents and his fellow team members at Exton Senior Living know they can count on “Mo.”
For a decade, Mohamed Kargbo has played an important role at the senior living community. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Kargbo recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating his 10th year as part of Exton Senior Living’s caregiving team.
“The Exton Senior Living residents affectionately call him ‘Mo,’ and they absolutely adore him,” said Joleene Kinneman, Community Relations Director. “He responds quickly to their needs and ensures they know that they are safe and their needs will be met.”
Kargbo supports Exton Senior Living’s LifeBridges program, which delivers specialized care for the community’s most medically fragile residents. In this role, he assists with daily living activities such as personal care and feeding, while prioritizing residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
The work goes far beyond clinical responsibilities for Kargbo, who says the relationships he has built with residents over the past decade are what make Exton Senior Living feel like home.
“I enjoy spending time with our residents and getting to know them,” Kargbo said. “You want to be like a part of their family, providing support when needed.”
That sense of connection is something residents and colleagues feel every day. ‘Mo’ is widely recognized for his attentiveness, dependability, and deep compassion.
Helping residents live better lives is the heart of Kargbo’s work.
“It is everything. It’s why I do what I do,” he said. “I love to be a part of our residents’ lives. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the lives of our residents.”
His dedication has not gone unnoticed by the leadership team or by those he serves.
“He is a fan favorite,” said Liane Bernstiel, Administrative Services Director at Exton Senior Living. “‘Mo’ gives the spa treatment, and they love him.”
Residents echo that sentiment.
“‘Mo’ is the best,” said resident Bob Binion. “He’s very helpful and is always great.”
“Mohamed is wonderful,” added resident Rev. Donald Blumenfeld. “He’s always friendly and very attentive.”
As Kargbo celebrates 10 years at Exton Senior Living, his impact is evident in the trust he has earned, the relationships he has built, and the comfort he provides to residents each day.
“This is a testament to the difference one dedicated caregiver can make in a senior living community,” said Casey Counseller, Executive Operations Officer at Exton Senior Living.
