The Residence at Presque Isle Bay seasonal celebration includes waffles, jewelry, cocoa and cookies
ERIE, Pa. – The Residence at Presque Isle Bay will showcase its spirit of the season as the senior living community presents The Holiday Shoppe Craft and Gift Festival on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
A dozen craft and gift vendors plan to participate in the event held from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Residence at Presque Isle Bay, 1012 West Bayfront Parkway in Erie.
“The Holiday Shoppe Craft and Gift Festival will offer our residents an opportunity to get into the spirit of the season and maybe even check off a few items from their gift list,” said Linsley Wybiral, Community Relations Director at The Residence at Presque Isle Bay. “Our residents will participate as well as their family members, our team and community professionals. All are welcome.
“The idea is, we’re bringing the shops to the residents instead of them going out for their holiday shopping,” Wybiral said. “That way they can shop in one location and buy gifts for their loved ones. It’s a chance to get out for a few hours and enjoy other people’s company.”
Admission is free to attend the Holiday Shoppe Craft and Gift Festival. The first 20 guests will receive a door prize. A photo booth and a hot cocoa and cookie bar are among the highlights guests may visit. A food truck also will be present.
“We are excited to bring together so many people during this special time of the year,” Wybiral said. “Whether someone is looking for a unique Christmas gift for a family member, or if they crave holiday treats or festive décor for their home, this is an event they won’t want to miss.”
Among the participating vendors are: Chivari’s Nest; Dawn’s Grazing Creations; Interim Healthcare; Independent Council on Aging; Jade Winery; Jewelry Creations by Kelley; La Bella Vita; Legacy Hydroponics; Luminary Distilling, Eatery & Fuhrman’s Cider; Mama Boss Accessories & More; The Sweet Squid; and A Waffle Miracle.
“Luminary Distilling and Jade Winery will offer adult beverages, and the most amazing waffle treats will be served by A Waffle Miracle food truck,” Wybiral said.
