My goal is to capture that light and shadow, that color and texture, that fleeting instant of light reflected off a surface in a way that transmits you to that time and place and tells the story of the moment.
This fall marks the 20th anniversary of the highly popular Great Falls Studio Tour. Over forty artists are participating in this year’s event which will run Friday, October 20 through Sunday, October 22, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Artists will provide live demonstrations and show work, both in the Great Falls Village Centre and in private studios throughout the historic and scenic Great Falls community.
The Great Falls Studio Tour is a unique experience for art lovers of all ages. This once-a-year event provides opportunities to visit artists in their place of work and to see how they both design and create inspired collections for all to enjoy. Their work ranges from painting, jewelry making, pottery and mixed media to photography, clothing and accessories. There really is a little something for everyone.
