The Residence at Presque Isle Bay to Mark Milestone on Aug. 9
ERIE, Pa. — Since opening a year ago, The Residence at Presque Isle Bay has assembled a dedicated and talented team while also completing significant renovations in the picturesque senior living community situated along the southern shore of Lake Erie.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary, The Residence at Presque Isle Bay will hold a “grand opening” event on August 9.
“The management team that we’ve built is very active with the residents,” said Nathan Maietta, acting Executive Operations Officer at The Residence at Presque Isle Bay. “We focus on improving the lives of our team members, who in turn improve the lives of our residents while providing their family members a peace of mind. This is what IntegraCare’s 3-Dimensional Focus is all about.”
Some of The Residence at Presque Isle Bay improvements are in plain sight, such as new flooring in the lobby and hallways. A state-of-the-art call bell system gives residents the ability to remain in touch with a member of the caregiving team 24/7.
Other developments also impact the lives of senior residents on a daily basis, such as the addition of a LifeStories Director, Resident Wellness Director and Safety and Maintenance Engineer to the IntegraCare-operated senior living community staff.
“We just passed our first-year mark and are ready to showcase some of the amazing improvements we have made to this lovely community,” said Linsley Wybiral, the Community Relations Director. “We are here to celebrate a special place where you can have ‘peace of mind on your own piece of lake front property.”
Maietta feels these are only a few of the reasons to celebrate one year at The Residence at Presque Isle Bay, a community situated at the center of one of the most amazing natural resources in the eastern United States. The event will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. and include music before and after the 4 p.m. dinner, which will be catered by Underdog BBQ, an Erie mainstay that was founded as part of the Discovery Channel TV show Undercover Billionaire. Various games and booths will welcome people of all ages.
