Community Buzz Grows as Dozens Secure Spots in Sinking Spring’s Modern, Amenity-Rich Senior Living Community
SINKING SPRING, Pa. – The Residence at Village Greens senior living community officially will celebrate its grand opening this summer, but there’s already a family vibe associated with the state-of-the-art building operated by Pennsylvania-based IntegraCare.
As construction continued throughout the spring, 28 depositors added their names to the list of those who secured their place at The Residence at Village Greens. The number of apartment reservations provided a figurative vote of confidence in the senior living community and its leadership team even before the doors open.
“The response we received from so many depositors has been amazing,” said Terri Sanelli, Executive Operations Officer at The Residence at Village Greens. “People in this region saw the commitment IntegraCare has made to fulfill a need in Western Berks County. This area was in need of a quality Memory Care neighborhood as well as Independent Living without a buy-in option. Our community fills those needs in a modern building with vibrant lifestyle options for our seniors.”
The 130,000-square-foot senior living community is located at 4400 Haines Street in Sinking Spring. The 131 units will include 60 Independent Living units, 51 in Personal Care and 20 in Memory Care.
“Choosing a senior living option for a loved one is one of the most important decisions a family member can make,” one of the depositors said. “The Residence at Village Greens checked all the boxes. A modern building with plenty of amenities and an emphasis on providing a vibrant lifestyle to seniors. Quality care. A secure environment. Peace of mind. That’s why our family decided to make the commitment even before construction was completed.”
The Residence at Village Greens depositors had an opportunity to tour another recently built IntegraCare senior living community, The Residence at Fitz Farm, which opened last year in York. Fitz Farm is about an hour bus ride from Sinking Spring.
“The Depositors trip was a success,” said Kim Kostival, Community Relations Director at The Residence at Village Greens. “We had 10 depositors and five family members make the bus trip, and they had a first-hand look at an IntegraCare community in action. Our sister community in York does such a great job of enhancing the lives of seniors. Our depositors got a preview of the type of environment they or their loved ones will find in our community.”
The tour enabled depositors to see the team in action at The Residence at Fitz Farm, which received recognition as a 2024 U.S. News Best Assisted Living community and is Great Place to Work Certified. Fitz Farm offers Independent Living, Personal Care and Memory Care.
“The tour was very enlightening,” said a depositor. “You have a chance to see another modern community with a lot of amenities, activities for residents and a staff that truly cared about their residents. It really made me feel great about our choice of The Residence at Village Greens.”
