WALLINGFORD, Pa. — Chestnut Ridge Wallingford will host its “Spring into Your New Home” open house on Thursday, April 30, giving prospective residents and their families a chance to tour the community’s newly renovated spaces and learn about its expanded care services.

The open house, scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m., will celebrate the completion of nearly $1 million in renovations and upgrades throughout the senior living community.

“We’re excited to share our newly renovated floors with potential residents and their families,” said Chestnut Ridge Wallingford Community Relations Director Tanissa Reed. “We’re celebrating in style. We’ll host a carnival-themed open house.”

Guests will enjoy food, beverages, games, giveaways and face-painting for children while touring the updated community.

The renovations, completed in March, modernized apartments on five floors and introduced two specialized care programs managed by IntegraCare: LifeStories memory care and LifeBridges high-acuity assisted living.

The improvements were designed to enhance both the living environment and the continuum of care available to residents, according to Loriann Putzier, a representative of the building owner and co-founder of IntegraCare, which operates Chestnut Ridge Wallingford.

“We have transformed the community to meet the evolving vision of today’s senior living,” Putzier said.

As part of the project, Chestnut Ridge Wallingford created dedicated neighborhoods for LifeStories and LifeBridges, each tailored to meet the needs of residents requiring specialized care.

The LifeStories neighborhood offers secured memory care designed to promote engagement and comfort through activity stations, interactive art installations and a dedicated dining room.

The LifeBridges neighborhood provides high-acuity assisted living services with amenities such as a private spa, a dedicated dining area and a “dining with dignity” program focused on meeting the nutritional and personal needs of residents requiring advanced care.

The April 30 event will allow visitors to see the renovations firsthand while experiencing the welcoming environment and expanded services now available at Chestnut Ridge Wallingford.
