YORK, Pa. – The Residence at Fitz Farm earned IntegraCare’s Silver Level Award for its prompt handling of residents’ callbell requests during the third quarter of 2026.

When a resident needs assistance, whether it’s for routine help or an emergency, they can push a pendant they carry on them. During the quarter, The Residence at Fitz Farm team responded in person to each call in an average of 2 minutes, 48 seconds to attain Silver Level status.

“Callbells are one of the simplest ways we can demonstrate that we are there when our residents need us,” said Larry Rouvelas, CEO of IntegraCare, which operates The Residence at Fitz Farm.

“A callbell isn’t necessarily a request for an emergency,” he said. “It may be someone needing help getting dressed, moving safely, getting a drink or taking care of another everyday need. Responding promptly shows our residents that their needs matter and gives families confidence that their loved ones can count on us. That combination of responsiveness, respect and reliability is an important part of the care we provide every day.”

IntegraCare’s Callbell program recognizes communities for strong response performance, with Gold-level performance generally associated with Average Response Times under 3 minutes and Silver-level performance with times under 4 minutes. IntegraCare operates senior living communities in three states.

“At its heart, the callbell is about connection,” Rouvelas said. “It’s a reminder that every interaction matters and that being present, responsive and kind is what turns care into something residents can truly rely on.”

The community wants its families to know its callbell response performance. It posts on its website a daily update: https://www.integracare.com/residence-at-fitz-farm/call-bell/
