Magnolias of Chambersburg Team Members Post 100% Attendance
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Kristine Wenrick knows she can count on her team at Magnolias of Chambersburg to “show up” when it comes to improving the lives of senior residents.
As Executive Operations Officer at the senior living community, Wenrick has the numbers to back her assessment. Magnolias of Chambersburg produced 10 team members with perfect work attendance in 2022. Some of those have not missed a day of work in years.
“I consider it a great honor to be in the midst of such a dedicated and devoted team,” Wenrick said.
Each year, IntegraCare, which operates Magnolias of Chambersburg, has a Continued Attendance Rewards (CAR) Program. Team members from 18 senior living communities located throughout three states received a voucher for each week of perfect work attendance. Those vouchers were entered into the most recent contest.
A total of 34,561 entrees collected throughout 2022 were in a raffle drawing, with a red 2023 Hyundai Elantra as the grand prize announced in May. While Magnolias of Chambersburg didn’t have the CAR Program overall winner this year, the senior living community produced the most team members with perfect attendance throughout IntegraCare. Overall, 42 IntegraCare team members didn’t miss a day of work in 2022 — with 10 of those being on the Magnolias of Chambersburg team.
“We celebrate that nearly one-fourth of the IntegraCare team members to receive such important recognition based on perfect attendance were from Magnolias of Chambersburg,” Wenrick said. “It truly does take the dedication of each individual in our work family to make Magnolias of Chambersburg the shining star that it is.”
The 10 Magnolias of Chambersburg team members who recently were recognized for having perfect work attendance last year include:
- Chris Herren, who began his career at Magnolias of Chambersburg as a volunteer in the activities department before becoming a Resident Wellness Associate in November 2015. “Chris has had perfect attendance the past four years,” said Amy Martenas, Resident Wellness Director. “He is very dedicated and proficient at job tasks. Chris greets everyone with a smile and his laugh lights up the room.”
- Lavonda Patterson is in her 17th year at Magnolias of Chambersburg, and the medication technician hasn’t missed a day of work throughout the past seven years. In 2018, Lavonda won a new vehicle when her name was drawn in the CAR Program contest. “Lavonda’s dedication is second to none,” Martenas said. “Her sweet, gentle disposition is embraced by all her team members and residents. She is very kind and compassionate meeting the needs of her residents.”
- Shirley Gaver is in her second year as a Resident Wellness Associate at Magnolias of Chambersburg. “Shirley enjoys being with the residents and works diligently to meet their needs,” Martenas said. “She is very compassionate for her residents and will always assist in making their nights better and finding a solution to problems.”
- In her second year at Magnolias of Chambersburg, Resident Wellness Associate Brenda McGuire is in the first level of the Motivational Advancement Program (MAP). “Brenda is striving to learn all she can to better meet the needs of team members and residents,” Martenas said. “Brenda has a beautiful heart and makes each resident feel special.”
- In her third year, Stacie Sweger began her career as a Resident Wellness Associate and advanced to a Medication Technician. She is in her second level of the MAP program. “Stacie loves to learn and expand her knowledge while serving as a med tech,” Martenas said. “She is very proficient and confident with job duties.”

- Jody Doyle, Hospitality Associate, has had perfect attendance for two years at Magnolias of Chambersburg. “It is apparent as soon as you enter the building that she is hard at work,” Wenrick said. “She keeps the Senior Living building looking clean and smelling fresh. Her heart for others is apparent each and every day.”
- Linda Geer is in her 10th year at Magnolias of Chambersburg. “In addition to her time at Magnolias, I have worked with Linda for a total of 25 years,” said Michele Mondi, Food Service Director. “She is dedicated to improving the lives of both the residents and her co-workers, and we are lucky to have her on our team.”
- A Cuisineur, Phillis Sanni has had perfect attendance in six of her 11 years at Magnolias of Chambersburg. “Phillis is hard working, dedicated and very creative,” Mondi said. “Phillis started out in the Resident Wellness Department and moved to Food Service.
