BUTLER, Pa. – Newhaven Court at Clearview earned U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Senior Living status by achieving the highest possible rating in Memory Care.
Newhaven Court at Clearview’s Best Memory Care status is a result of U.S. News & World Report’s trusted, data-backed ratings of the best senior living communities across the United States.
“Our community teams work 24/7 to enhance the lives of our seniors and their families,” said Larry Rouvelas, CEO of IntegraCare, which operates Newhaven Court at Clearview. “While beautiful buildings and amenities are appealing, it’s the quality of life within those buildings that matters.”
The awards are based entirely on third-party surveys of residents and families. For its 2025 Best Senior Living ratings, U.S. News & World Report surveyed them in nearly 3,800 communities on several criteria, including resident and family members’ satisfaction with safety, care, community management and staff, value and other services and amenities provided by the community.
U.S. News & World Report awards the designation of “Best Senior Living” only to those communities that satisfy U.S. News’ rigorous, data-driven standard. It is a statistical assessment of performance based on consumer satisfaction surveys from the past two calendar years, incorporating feedback from over 450,000 residents and family members. Only the highest-rated communities in each care level received a ‘Best’ rating.
The survey results provide real-world perspectives from the people who matter most, residents and their families.
“When my mom first moved into Newhaven Court at Clearview, she didn’t live in LifeStories, but everyone there was so caring and astute and realized my mom needed to make the move,” said a survey respondent Amanda, whose mother is in the memory care neighborhood. “They literally took care of everything, and my mom was so comfortable with the move. LifeStories is our family now, and we are so grateful for everyone. Newhaven Court is a blessing to our community, and we recommend to anyone with the need for extra support and love.”
Another survey respondent, Michelle, had a family member who faced challenges in his own home. Her instincts, based on a nursing background, led Michelle and her family to explore senior living options.
“My uncle was struggling at home alone,” Michelle said in the survey. “Since moving to Newhaven Court at Clearview he is thriving, gained weight, stays active and has community around him. I am a nurse and have not been in another facility that the staff is so caring and friendly.”
Lawrence, whose mother is in memory care, responded to the survey, stressing the importance of “respect and dignity.”
“My loved one is treated with respect and dignity, and I believe the staff truly cares and respects the residents,” Lawrence said in the survey. “As a result of this experience, other family members of other residents have become a strong support group, not only for the residents, but for themselves and sharing their stories.”
U.S. News also recognizes outstanding performance in several areas with a High Performing accolade. This recognition is awarded to communities that scored in the top 25% of evaluated communities nationwide for caregiving, activities and enrichment, management and staff, food and “feels like home.”
“Choosing a senior living community is a big life decision for older adults and their loved ones. U.S. News’ Best Senior Living ratings offer families a data-driven search tool, providing transparent and comprehensive assessments of quality,” said Ben Harder, managing editor and chief of health analysis at U.S. News. “We commend the communities that have earned this distinction, reflecting their unwavering dedication to resident well-being and satisfaction.”
