A recent article by Huffington Post writer, Brittany Wong, has helped these beautiful snapshots of love go viral.
London based photographer, Sujata Setia, travels the world educating other budding photographers and capturing families and moments along the way. Wherever she is, she asks elderly, long-married couples to volunteer as models for her and her students. “Let us take some engagement-style photos of you and you can keep them,” she tells the couples.
You can imagine their reactions are usually of surprise. After so many years together, why capture us?
Sujata told Huffington Post, “It’s just the pleasant shock of never, ever imagining that someone would ask them to pose like a newly married couple at 80 years old.”
With the beautiful love between these couples as her canvas, the resulting images are breathtaking. Using her painted-light style, she captures these simple moments of love through the ages with grace.
Even though many couples require a little coaxing at first, she always gets the shot. “I tell them to hold hands, kiss. The couples always laugh first, the husbands mostly,” she said. “And then the shoots are always so full of laughter because both husband and wife are endlessly giggling,” she recounts to Huffington Post.
We are blessed to have many loving couples residing in our communities, and we can surely think of more than a few who would beam just like these couples.

Who would you capture such loving moments of?
