CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Magnolias of Chambersburg senior living community will hold its annual Sweet Treat Bake Sale on Friday, February 13 with proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association Fund.
The bake sale will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Magnolias of Chambersburg, 745 Norland Avenue in Chambersburg.
“Our residents and the Magnolias of Chambersburg team work together to bake tasty items for the Sweet Treat event each year around Valentine’s Day,” said Melissa Buksa, Activities Coordinator. “This is always a fun event that is well-received. Our apple dumplings are a traditional favorite, and our brownies and cookies are popular too. Plus, the sales benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Fund, which is very important to our community.”
Magnolias of Chambersburg’s Memory Care neighborhood provides a residential setting for seniors who are living with memory impairments.
“We offer a safe, warm, inviting, and dignified environment conducive to the residents’ emotional, spiritual, and social satisfaction,” said Susan Taylor, Executive Director at Magnolias of Chambersburg. “We are a ‘family’ here at Magnolias, and the Sweet Treat Bake Sale is a special way for us to bond and raise funds for an important cause.”
