Balik, who is a medication associate at Newhaven Court at Clearview, received the Direct Care Worker of the Year award.
“It’s good to know there are people in healthcare like Stephanie Balik,” said Gary Renwick, Executive Operations Officer at Newhaven Court at Clearview. “Stephanie takes a no-nonsense approach to our residents’ care. She is hard-working and always willing to accept additional shifts.”
“As a medication associate, Stephanie shows how much she cares by dedicating her time and attention to getting it right every time,” Renwick added. “Stephanie has many talents and can fit into multiple roles within the Newhaven community. Her experience and commitment to care make her an invaluable member of our team.”
Lucco, who is the lead Cuisineur at the senior living community, earned Non-Direct Care Worker of the Year honors.

Jeff’s flair for preparing visually interesting and delicious meals has been a big hit with the community.”
“But what takes Jeff to the next level is his ability to connect with residents,” Renwick continued. “He shares recipes, brings in home-made treats, and has an easy-going, friendly nature that makes Newhaven very lucky to have Jeff Lucco on our team.”
