Newhaven Court at Clearview Average Response Time was 2 Minutes, 46 Seconds
BUTLER, Pa. – Newhaven Court at Clearview’s prompt handling of callbell requests earned it an IntegraCare Gold Level Award during the first quarter of 2024.
When a resident needs assistance, whether it’s for routine help or an emergency, they can push a pendant they carry on them. During the quarter, the Clearview team responded in person to each call in an average 2 minutes, 46 seconds.

Krystle Pry, Executive Operations Officer at Newhaven Court at Clearview, attributed the Gold Level Award to her team’s unwavering dedication to enhancing residents’ lives.
“I’m really proud of our team for this accomplishment and our community receiving this award for callbell excellence,” Pry said. “It’s not surprising to me. Our team is very focused and driven on meeting the needs of our residents and keeping them happy, so I think this is just a true testament to the loyal team that we have here and that we have people here for the right reasons.”
When the callbell rings, the Newhaven Court at Clearview team responds quickly and consistently.
Resident Wellness Director Marlee Mauthe added, “Callbells are important because our resident safety is the top priority. Our goal is to help the residents meet their needs and make this a happy place for them to live.”
Callbells aren’t just about emergencies. The system addresses a wide range of the residents’ daily needs, such as dressing, moving from place-to-place or even getting a glass of water.
The community wants its families to know every day its callbell response performance. So it posts on its website a daily update: Yesterday’s Callbell Response Times. “Families should have peace-of-mind that, when their loved one needs help, we’re there quickly and reliably,” Rouvelas said.
“A senior living community should be beautiful, yes. But more importantly, when you need help it should be there for you, quickly and reliably,” Rouvelas said. “The seniors at Newhaven Court at Clearview get that every day.”
