14th Leonard Street Car and Bike Show/Cruise to Benefit Alzheimer’s Association
CLEARFIELD, Pa. – The Leonard Street Car and Bike Show/Cruise will continue to roll at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield on May 19.
The 14th chapter in the popular event will be held in the senior living community parking lot at 1300 Leonard Street in Clearfield.
“We had a great turnout last year and are hoping for another great turnout this year,” said Sandy English, Community Relations Director at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield. “This event brings out car and bike enthusiasts as well as people who just want to see all of the cool vehicles on the lot. Those usually include everything from vintage Mustangs to new Harley Davidsons. Plus, the Car and Bike Show proceeds benefit a great cause — the Alzheimer’s Association.”
The Leonard Street Car and Bike Show/Cruise will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 19. Registration begins at 9 a.m. A $10 donation to register a vehicle goes to the Alzheimer’s Association.
“People enjoy showing off their cars, trucks and bikes,” said Brandi Butler, Executive Operations Officer at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield. “Those who attend have an opportunity to see classics from the past and the new creations of today while supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. Our residents have a great time while checking out all of the different vehicles.”
Last year, 57 vehicles participated in the event, which raised $1,126 for the Alzheimer’s Association. Donations totaled a combined $13,938 in the past 10 shows since 2012.
“This event has helped Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield raise a significant amount of money for a cause that is so important to all of us in our community,” English said. “The Car and Bike show has thrived despite a two-year interruption in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are proud to be a part of such a great tradition.”
