Queenstown Landing earned IntegraCare’s Silver Level Award for callbell responses in the first quarter of 2024. IntegraCare CEO Larry Rouvelas presented the Queenstown Landing team with a certificate to commemorate the award.
Residents’ Calls Answered on Average in 2 Minutes, 50 Seconds
QUEENSTOWN, Md. – Queenstown Landing’s prompt handling of callbell requests earned it an IntegraCare Silver Level Award during the first quarter of 2024.
When a resident needs assistance, whether it’s for routine help or an emergency, they can push a pendant they carry on them. During the quarter, the Queenstown Landing team responded in person to each call in an average 2 minutes, 50 seconds.
“When a resident moves into one of our communities, we make a core promise,” said Larry Rouvelas, Chief Executive Officer of Pennsylvania-based IntegraCare, which operates Queenstown Landing. “Yes, we’ll offer an enjoyable quality-of-life. And, when you need help, we’ll be there for you.”
Rebecca Kennedy, Executive Operations Officer at Queenstown Landing, attributed the Silver Level Award to her team’s unwavering dedication to enhancing residents’ lives.
“I am proud of all of them for staying focused on what matters most — the care of our amazing residents,” Kennedy said. “I’m proud of our team for always keeping their eye on the ball and giving great care safely and promptly each time the callbell rings.”
Resident Wellness Director Lindsay Garland also pointed to Queenstown Landing’s commitment to improving the lives of residents while providing their family members a peace of mind.
“Our No. 1 focus is the safety and security of our residents,” Garland said. “We serve them as best as possible, and it shows by our callbell response times.”
The callbell system isn’t only about emergencies. The Queenstown Landing team responds to wide range of the residents’ daily needs, such as dressing, moving from place-to-place or even getting a glass of water.
“A senior living community should be beautiful, yes. But more importantly, when you need help it should be there for you, quickly and reliably,” Rouvelas said. “The seniors at Queenstown Landing get that every day. When they ring, a caregiver typically arrives in-person in less time than a television commercial break lasts.”
“Great care is built upon a capable team and strong systems. Queenstown Landing has both,” Rouvelas added.
